Rambo's Biker Ministry

I got off work around 4 am and  took a small putt back to the neighborhood from the job site, I minister at a gas station and so far it has been pretty receptive. I ran into a biker , not literally, who started a small conversation with me. I found out that his son may be looking at ten years at the young age of 20. I will not go any further than that in order to keep confidentiality, how ever this man sounded as though all hope was lost. Thus the title of this article and a question asked by many , when is hope lost, is it ever lost, and what is hope? These questions are common and as Christians we must know how to answer them in a biblical way, know what the signs are for someone who has lost hope, and really know what hope…

Rambo's Biker Ministry

This article is going to be something different from my teaching of scripture.

Today on my way home from work I rolled into the gas station to fill up my horse when I heard a familiar voice say hey honey over here, it was my wife on her little pony, my wife’s first two wheeled ride is a metropolitan 50 cc scooter, and she loves the ride. She was smiling from ear to ear and we rode to the house and around the block when she realized she would be late for work, The smile was one of the holy spirit and smile that truly said I am happy and content with what I have and that is all I want for both my wife and daughter, happiness. This is something money can’t buy and I enjoy every smile I get out of both of them. I am a blessed man…

Resurrection Sunday

Rambo's Biker Ministry

Well it is that time of year, the signs of spring, and yes that holiday everyone celebrates called Easter. How ever , this is more than just eggs, bunnies, baskets and grass with candy that is the paganism part of this deal in order to distract Christians from the true holiday, the true meaning of this Sunday should solely be focused on one of the greatest mirricles   in the history of man kind and that is this the death of Jesus Christ on the cross, brought down by his people prepared and put in a tomb, with a big boulder to seal it and Roman guards assigned to stand watch and on the third day Resurrection Sunday to arise ,defeating, death, satan and the world. He said the temple would be destroyed and then rebuilt in 3 days and no one really understood what he meannt , they thought the temple of Soloman but…

destination Heaven or Hell : what is your destination?

Rambo's Biker Ministry

I listened to a message by Dr. Charles Stanley of In Touch Ministry and his message was staying on track and I am using the same scriptures he used in his sermon and putting my own thoughts to it so this is credited to Dr. Charles Stanley.

Let’s say we are riding our bikes to Sturgis, South Dakota for the annual bike week the biggest in the country aside from Daytona Bike Week and we see a place that looks kind of cool so we stop there rather than pas it on by and end up not making it to Sturgis for one reason or another wouldn’t that be a shame to not make it to a place where we may have brought multiple people to Christ because we wanted to have fun? Well the same goes for us in our walk with God we get side tracked or come…

When we pray…

I heard a great quote on the radio about a week ago on my way to work, and felt it was so true. It came from a movie called Evan Almighty. Hopefully you find it as great as I did!

Filming on the ark for Evan Almighty starring ...

God: Let me ask you something. If someone prays for patience, you think God gives them patience? Or does he give them the opportunity to be patient? If he prayed for courage, does God give him courage, or does he give him opportunities to be courageous? If someone prayed for the family to be closer, do you think God zaps them with warm fuzzy feelings, or does he give them opportunities to love each other?

Found here

Until I heard this quote I found myself asking how long will it be until God answered my prayer. When I looked at things again after hearing this, I saw all the opportunities God gave us, and realized all our prayers were already answered!

Happy Valentines Day

I saw a great quote for this valentines day, and thought that I should share it with you. Sometimes we take our love for granted and forget how special that special someone really is.

This valentines day as we remember to rekindle our love with that special someone, we need to remember to rekindle our hearts to God as well. God always loves us, so shouldn’t we love him back, and not just on valentines day either.

What can roads teach us about God?

English: Dirt road behind Vertical Edge Climbi...

Image via Wikipedia

Ever wonder what roads and God have in common? Well here are a few things for you to think about. At every corner you have the opportunity to pick a new direction, change direction or continue going where you’re going. This represents our free will that God has given us to make choices. Ever get lost and find yourself turning a corner only to see the sign that says “Dead End?” Well this represents us when we stray away from God. When we lose sight of him and take the wrong turn. Guess what? Just because you went down the dead end road doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world now. God allows U-turns! This is your chance to turn around and find God again. God always allows us to come back to him, just like you can always make a U-turn at the end of a dead end road.

What about different types of roads? Well you have everything from highways to dirt roads. The highway represents the main pathway that everyone takes, but the dirt roads are often bumpy and hard, but as the bible says in Matthew 7:13-14:

13“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. 14 Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

So today I encourage all of you to take the narrow road which leads to life.

May God Bless you!

Finding God’s Message for you.

Pieces of a puzzle

Image via Wikipedia

How do you know when God is trying to send you a message? For each person this answer can be very different. For me often times it’s a constant nagging that comes across my heart. Lately God has been dropping bits and pieces for me to put together and figure out. So my question tonight is how do you put together tiny pieces of a puzzle without knowing the big picture? Imagine taking a 500 piece puzzle out of a plain box, with no idea what the big picture would look like. Where do you start? How do you go about getting to the big picture? What would you do if someone took away all your “Edge” pieces?

I’d love to hear your opinions on this one!
